A Settings section in the user menu where each person controls their notifications.

Scope

Per type: mentions, assignments, replies, automations and likes can each be turned on or off.
Per channel: in the app, by email, and by push once the apps exist.
Blackout schedules: quiet hours by day of the week in the person's time zone, such as no pushes after 9 pm or on days off. Notifications during a blackout are held until it ends, or only show in the app.
Digest, optional: a daily summary email instead of individual ones.
Admin defaults: admins can set what new people start with.

Build this before or alongside #9 (desktop and mobile apps with push notifications), since push should follow these settings from day one.
