Built-in connectors for the two third-party integrations still active in the church's monday.com account. Both are on the Baptisms board.

Google Calendar

  • Replaces: the monday.com recipe "when an item is created or updated, create an event in Google Calendar and keep it in sync". It's active and was last changed October 2026. A second, assignment-based calendar recipe is turned off.
  • Choices per board: which date or timeline column to use, which calendar, and how to title events.
  • Sync: updating or deleting the item updates or removes the event.
  • Google setup: reuse the Google Cloud project that sign-in already uses, which the Drive integration will use too. Decide between a service account with domain-wide delegation for shared calendars, and a staff member connecting their own calendar.

Slack

  • Action: post a message to a channel when an automation fires.
  • Replaces: Baptisms' "when a status changes, notify on Slack". It's still marked active but hasn't been touched since 2023, so check it's still wanted before building this.
  • Simplest version: a Slack incoming-webhook URL per automation.

Email: an "email this address" action also becomes easy, since outgoing email now exists for people outside Waters.

Builds on #1 (multi-step actions) and #2 (webhook action and the delivery log).
