"""Status panel watchdog for the Companion STATUS page on NA Ingest.
Every second it reads every connection's status and a handful of module
variables from Companion's HTTP API, adds what Companion cannot see (network
MIDI peers, Bonjour sessions, pings, launchd services, disk, Resi cloud),
decides what is wrong, and writes one JSON custom variable (sp_state) that the
STATUS page buttons render. It also writes a heartbeat (sp_hb) so the page can
tell when this script has stopped, and reads button presses from sp_cmd.
Stdlib only; runs on the macOS /usr/bin/python3 (3.9).
status_panel.py run (LaunchAgent)
status_panel.py --once poll everything once and print the tiles
status_panel.py --dry-run run, but never write to Companion
