# RapidAPI Setup - Simple Steps
|

||
|
|
## What This Does
|
||
|
|
Adds extra Bible study info (definitions, commentaries, etc.) to your word popups.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
## 3 Simple Steps
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
### Step 1: Get Your API Key
|
||
|
|
1. Go to: https://rapidapi.com/teachjesusapp/api/complete-study-bible
|
||
|
|
2. Click "Subscribe" (free plan is fine)
|
||
|
|
3. Copy your API key (looks like: `abc123xyz456...`)
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
### Step 2: Paste This in Browser Console
|
||
|
|
Press `F12` to open console, then paste:
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|

|
||
|
|
localStorage.setItem('rapidapi.key', 'PASTE_YOUR_API_KEY_HERE');
|
||
|
|
```
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
Replace `PASTE_YOUR_API_KEY_HERE` with your actual key.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
### Step 3: Test It
|
||
|
|
Click on any word in your Bible app. You should see a "Complete Study Bible" section in the popup.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
## That's It!
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
If it doesn't work:
|
||
|
|
- Check browser console (F12) for errors
|
||
|
|
- Make sure you copied the API key correctly
|
||
|
|
- Try clicking a different word
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
## Optional: Test Function
|
||
|
|
In console, type:
|
||
|
|
```javascript
|
||
|
|
await window.testRapidAPIIntegration('love');
|
||
|
|
```
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
This will test the integration and show you what data it's getting.
